Randi Markusen and I had the remarkable opportunity to have dinner with President Haris Silajdic, along with Dr. Greg Stanton; Dr. Edina Becirevic, professor, University of Sarajevo; Velma Saric, conference convener; Ed Vulliamy; and the editor of the renowned Bosnian newspaper Dani. President Silajdic was optimistic about the country’s future, speaking about possibilities for business and economic development, education, and trade opportunities.
